Agradecen mexicanos repatriados a gobierno de Pedro Joaquín puente humanitario

DIANA ALVARADO 01 JUNIO 2020.-  En el marco del cuarto puente humanitario que tiende Cozumel durante la emergencia sanitaria por Covid-19, el Presidente Municipal, Pedro Joaquín Delbouis, destacó la colaboración de dependencias federales y estatales, así como las fuerzas armadas, empresas navieras y diversos sectores de la población que participan en este proceso de repatriación de trabajadores mexicanos que, a consecuencia de la pandemia, se quedaron sin su fuente de empleo por la cancelación de los viajes en cruceros.

El Presidente Municipal reiteró la cooperación del Gobierno de Cozumel para que en esta ocasión 269 tripulantes mexicanos, entre ellos 20 quintanarroenses, además de 5 extranjeros con tarjeta de residentes, todos ellos libres de Covid-19, puedan reunirse con sus familias, en tanto se reactiva la actividad turística no solo en México, sino en el mundo entero.

“En estos momentos de crisis por la pandemia de Covid-19, Cozumel mantiene sus muelles abiertos para tender puentes humanitarios, a fin de que los trabajadores mexicanos que se encuentren varados en altamar, puedan regresar a sus hogares y reunirse con sus familias; agradezco a la naviera M/S Caribbean Princess por este esfuerzo de traer a casa a nuestros paisanos”, resaltó Pedro Joaquín Delbouis.

De nueva cuenta, en esta repatriación que se llevó a cabo en el muelle Puerta Maya, se contó con la participación de la Capitanía de Puerto, la Secretaría Estatal de Salud (Sesa) con personal en Sanidad Internacional, la Agencia Consignataria del Sureste (Aconsur), la Administradora Marítima TMM, el Instituto Nacional de Migración (INM), Sector Naval de la isla, Pilotos de Puerto, Aduana, Secretaría de Agricultura y Desarrollo Rural (Sader) con personal de Riesgos Fitosanitarios, las fuerzas armadas y la Guardia Nacional, así como la misma naviera.

El proceso se llevó a cabo con apego a los protocolos correspondientes, como toma de temperatura y aplicación de cuestionarios, información que fue compartida con el Comité de Salud Municipal para garantizar el buen funcionamiento y operación del puente humanitario; posteriormente, pasaron por la revisión migratoria y aduanal.

Previo al abordaje de la embarcación local que los trasladaría a Playa del Carmen para desde ahí ser enviados a sus lugares de origen, los trabajadores mexicanos repatriados agradecieron al Gobierno Municipal por tender este puente humanitario, siguiendo todos los protocolos de seguridad sanitaria, el cual les permitirá regresar con sus respectivas familias.

Las autoridades me sorprendieron; me parecieron perfectos los protocolos estrictos que realizaron, pero estoy feliz de regresar, después de meses sin pisar tierra. Ya extrañamos a la familia y la comida: Miriam Alejandra Calvo, de Playa del Carmen.

Estoy muy feliz de regresar a mi país, de volver a ver mi familia, después de ocho meses de estar a bordo, dos meses extras de lo esperado, debido a la pandemia, pero agradezco que al Gobierno Municipal de Cozumel por hacer posible este regreso a casa con el puente humanitario: Daniela Paulina Carmona Palma, de Playa del Carmen.

Después de 79 días de estar en el mar, pues me siento muy bien por volver. Se me hace muy bien los protocolos que se siguen, pero aquellas personas que no la acatan se me hace una irresponsabilidad: Ángel Aranda, de Cancún.

Por fin en casa. Me siento muy bien que las autoridades hayan sido muy enérgicos y claros con la información, para que no nos pasara nada: Fabián Aburto, de Playa del Carmen.

Me siento padrísimo de regresar a México y todos respetamos los protocolos tanto de la empresa como de las autoridades, los cuales fueron muy claros y se deben de seguir haciendo: Edgar Rafael Marban Elizalde, de la Ciudad de México.

La verdad no me esperaba que fueran tan estrictas las autoridades, por lo que escuchábamos en las noticias, pero todo fue necesario y eso está bien, agradezco que el Gobierno Municipal de Cozumel tendiera este puente humanitario para poder regresar a nuestra tierra: Rosa Carmina Ozuna, de Mazatlán, Sinaloa.

Estoy muy alegre de regresar, a pesar de todo lo que ha pasado, hubo muy buena atención por parte de la empresa y estoy feliz de regresar a México y pienso que son muy buenas las medidas que se emplearon, porque así mantenemos segura a la familia y nuestra salud: Eduardo Benjamín Maldonado, del Estado de México.
